Chain framework for a series

What makes a good web/tv series?

  1. You have a story spread across seasons
  2. You have another story spread across that particular season
  3. You have a story which starts at the last 1/3rd or 1/4th of the season and ends at the first 1/4th or 1/3rd of the season, a chain link story
  4. Then you have a story which is spread across in the middle 1/3rd the season or 1/4th of the season
  5. You have a story spread across that episode
  6. You have a story spread across 2 episodes, chainlink story which links 2 episodes. It can start at the last 1/3rd & end at the 1st 1/3rd or middle of the next episode
  7. Whether to use 1/3rd or 1/4th depends on the number of episodes.
  8. Highest priority to lowest priority
    1. story spread across seasons
    2. story spread across season
    3. story of the episode
    4. story linking 2 seasons (Starts at the last 1/3rd, ends at the 1st 1/3rd of next season)
    5. story linking 2 episodes
  9. external references. Some tiny missable references to other works of art, not part of the series.
